We are all

HUMAN

We share the same air

We share the same knowledge

But why

Can't we be treated the same

Black

White

Hispanic

Gay

Straight

Trans

We are all human

But

The color on our skin

And the language we speak

And the people we chose to love

Are too

DIFFERENT

Many love to be different

Though

Some wish

They could change

The color of their skin

And forget the language they speak

And hold inside there urge to love

Someone else

Because they are criticized for it

For being different

From the rest

We stand in our groups

The same as our own

Afraid to be criticized

Once again

Once we feel safe

Someone comes along

To judge who we are

Inside and out

Though hardly for

What you really are

In the inside

Because no one

Takes time to

Look deeper than

What is shown on the outside

Ew you like guys

You're so GAY

You take the bus right

Cuz all the Mexicans do

I go to school

To learn and to think

Not to be criticized and judged

For who I really am

WE ARE HUMAN TOO
